On the morning of July 23, the People's Committee of Tan Yen commune said that due to the impact of storm No. 3, from July 21 to 23, Tan Yen commune had prolonged heavy rain. In particular, the Yen Binh village area (formerly Ca Dac village, in the old Tan Hop commune) has steep mountain slopes, weak soil, and a high risk of landslides and flash floods.

The commune government has coordinated with functional forces to urgently evacuate people from dangerous areas, ensuring the safety of life and property.
The authorities have set up 71 temporary camps to evacuate 71 households with 340 people from areas at risk of landslides.
At the same time, organizations and businesses in the area are encouraged to participate in supporting affected people with 100 boxes of instant noodles, 100 boxes of canned meat and 100 boxes of canned fish along with essential necessities for temporary daily life.

"There is still rain in the area, the People's Committee of the commune has directed forces to be on duty 24/7, closely monitor the weather situation, grasp the flood situation, continue to propagate so that people can proactively respond to the impact of the storm's circulation" - said the leader of Tan Yen commune.
