Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 3, localities in Thai Nguyen province have deployed the evacuation of people in areas at risk of landslides.
In Thanh Mai commune (formerly in Cho Moi district, Bac Kan), 7 households in Khau Tong and Khau Rang villages have been evacuated from vulnerable areas.
Temporary accommodation is arranged at the Mai Hy Commune Health Station (old), Mai Hy Kindergarten (old), Khau Rang Village Cultural House and relatives' houses.

In addition to supporting the evacuation of people and property, police forces were also deployed at evacuation points to ensure security. Facilities and essential necessities have been prepared according to the disaster response plan.
In Cam Giang commune (formerly in Bach Thong district, Bac Kan), 15 households in areas at risk of landslides have been listed and are ready to relocate.
In Coc Tao village, Na Phac commune (formerly in Ngan Son district, Bac Kan), many households live in anxiety and worry when the slope behind their house shows signs of cracking, and many households have evacuated themselves to avoid risks.
In addition to the evacuation of people, localities are inspecting dams, irrigation works, and locations at high risk of prolonged heavy rain.
In the face of the complicated developments of storm No. 3, the authorities recommend that people living in areas with steep terrain, weak slopes, and risk of landslides should proactively evacuate to ensure the safety of life and property.
