The accident occurred at 6:30 a.m. on June 19, when a truck with a Lao license plate was traveling on National Highway 8 from Pho Chau town to Cau Treo border gate to Son Kim 1 commune, it collided with a truck with license plate 24H-019.xx traveling in the opposite direction.
The accident did not cause any casualties but caused severe damage to the front of both vehicles.
After receiving the report, the Traffic Police Department of Ha Tinh Police coordinated with functional units to direct traffic and investigate the cause.
Because the location of the traffic accident was at the curve, the two vehicles occupied the entire road surface, so traffic was congested in both directions. Rescue forces were present to handle and clear the congestion at the scene.
