Initial information, in the early morning of the same day, on the eastern bypass road, in the direction of Ham Rong intersection (Hoi Phu ward, Gia Lai province), a serious accident occurred.
At the above time, a sleeper bus of Viet Tan Phat bus company, license plate 50E-449. XX, running in the direction from Ham Rong to Dak Doa. When arriving at the above area, the bus overturned, causing some casualties.
Many passengers were taken to hospitals in the area for emergency treatment. Immediately after the accident occurred, police forces, local authorities and medical facilities quickly arrived at the scene, supporting rescue and treatment of injured people.
Representatives of Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital informed that initially 4 patients were hospitalized for treatment with severe injuries. Regarding the number of deaths, the unit does not have clear data; most of the deaths were extrahospitalized.
