On June 22, the Road Traffic Police Team of Dien Khanh - Khanh Vinh area (Traffic Police Department, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police) announced that it had just drawn up a record of an administrative violation against a bus driver who recklessly overtook and encroached on a dangerous lane on Khanh Le Pass, almost causing a serious accident.
Previously, on June 17, at Km 61+400 National Highway 27C (through Khanh Le Pass, Son Thai Commune, Khanh Vinh District), a passenger car with license plate 79F-002.xx of Quang Tuan bus company driven by driver N.V.T (53 years old, residing in Van Gia Town, Van Ninh District) was traveling at high speed, overtaking another car right at a curve with a straight yellow road - a place prohibited from crossing - and encroaching on the road of the car going in the opposite direction.
Fortunately, vehicles traveling in the wrong direction ran slowly, promptly brake suddenly and avoid the right edge, avoiding dangerous collisions that could lead to serious traffic accidents.
The entire behavior of driver T. was recorded by the dashcam of the vehicle going in the wrong direction and reported to the Traffic Police Department.
After receiving the information, the Road Traffic Police Team of Dien Khanh - Khanh Vinh area verified and invited driver T. to work. At the police station, Mr. T. admitted to all violations.
The authorities have drawn up an administrative violation record for Mr. T. for the act of "overtaking in cases where it is not allowed to overtake". According to regulations, this behavior is fined from 4 to 6 million VND and has 2 points deducted from the driver's license.
