On June 1, at the Long Thanh International Airport construction site (abbreviated as Long Thanh airport), Vietnam Airports Corporation (abbreviated as ACV) organized the "180-day and night launching ceremony to accelerate the completion of the project and put Long Thanh airport into operation", officially launching a peak emulation period throughout the construction site.
To date, the project has reached 75.97% of the total value of signed contracts; many key items have reached high progress, in which runway No. 1 has been completed and put into technical operation.
Long Thanh airport passenger terminal (the heart of the project) has completed the entire main structure and is entering the completion and equipment installation phase, ready for the sprint towards the finish line.
At the ceremony, ACV presented gifts of encouragement to representatives of contractors, engineers and workers who are directly constructing at the construction site.
