On April 16, the 50th Provincial Party Executive Committee Conference, term XX, term 2020 - 2025, gave opinions and high consensus on the draft Project on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Thai Nguyen province.
Accordingly, the plan to reorganize 55 commune-level administrative units in Thai Nguyen province is expected to be as follows:
Thai Nguyen City has 8 units left from 32 wards and communes, including: Phan Dinh Phung ward, Linh Son ward, Tich Luong ward, Gia Sang ward, Quyet Thang ward, Quan Trieu ward, Tan Cuong commune and Dai Phuc commune.
Dai Tu district, from 27 communes and towns, has 9 communes, including: Dai Tu commune, Duc Luong commune, Phu Thinh commune, La Bang commune, Phu Lac commune, An Khanh commune, Quan Chu commune, Van Phu commune and Phu Xuyen commune.
Pho Yen City, from 18 communes and wards, there are 5 wards and communes, including: Pho Yen ward, Van Xuan ward, Trung Thanh ward, Phuc Thuan ward and Thanh Cong commune.
Phu Binh district, from 20 communes and towns, has 5 communes, including: Phu Binh commune, Tan Thanh commune, Diem Thuy commune, Kha Son commune and Tan Khanh commune.
Dong Hy district, from 14 communes and towns, has 6 communes, including: Dong Hy commune, Quang Son commune, Trai Cau commune, Nam Hoa commune, Van Han commune and Van Lang commune.
In Song Cong city, from 10 communes and wards, there are 3 wards, including: Song Cong ward, Ba Xuyen ward and Bach Quang ward.
Phu Luong district, from 14 communes and towns, has 4 communes, including: Phu Luong commune, Vo Tranh commune, Yen Trach commune and Hop Thanh commune.
Dinh Hoa district, from 22 communes and towns to 8 communes, including: Dinh Hoa commune, Binh Yen commune, Trung Hoi commune, Phuong Tien commune, Phu Dinh commune, Binh Thanh commune, Kim Phuong commune and Lam Vy commune.
Vo Nhai district, from 15 communes and towns, still has 7 communes, including: Vo Nhai commune, Dan Tien commune, Nghinh Tuong commune, Than Sa commune, La Hien commune, Trang Xa commune and kept the same as Sang Moc commune.
The rearrangement and reorganization of administrative units not only helps streamline the administrative management apparatus but also creates a foundation to improve the efficiency of economic and social development.
