On October 28, Dak Lak province solemnly held the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress, period 2025 - 2030, with the theme "Emulation for innovation, creativity, acceleration, breakthrough, bringing Dak Lak and the whole country into a new era of development, richness, civilization, and identity".
The Congress was attended by Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Deputy Head of the Central Emulation and Reward Committee. In addition, there were representatives of leaders of localities, departments, branches and about 450 delegates who are typical examples in the province's patriotic emulation movements.
This is a festival to honor the strength of solidarity, creativity, and rising will of the entire Party Committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in Dak Lak province.
At the same time, creating new momentum and new motivation to successfully implement the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, contributing to the success of the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee emphasized that in recent times, the province's patriotic emulation movements have had many innovations in both content and form, associated with the political and practical tasks of the locality.
Movements such as "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style", "Joining efforts to build new rural areas", "Sustainable poverty reduction", "Good teaching - Good learning", "For national security" ... have spread widely. Thereby, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, maintaining national defense and security and improving people's lives.
According to the Provincial Party Secretary, after merging with Phu Yen province, Dak Lak has more potential, advantages and opportunities to develop more strongly in economy, culture, society, and improve the quality of life of the people.
He emphasized that the reward work must be carried out seriously, fairly and accurately, with clear criteria to accurately evaluate achievements and promptly encourage worthy collectives and individuals.
The results and success of the emulation movement must be crystallized into real products, creating real changes for development, people truly enjoy the fruits of emulation and actively participate truly in emulation movements.
The Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary called on: "All cadres, party members and people in the province continue to strive to compete for patriotism, solidarity, creativity, and join hands to build a province to develop quickly, sustainably, civilly, and richly with identity; thereby, contributing to the country's development in the new era".
At the Congress, 5 individuals were awarded the Second Class Labor Medal; Third Class Labor Medal for 1 collective; Third Class Labor Medal for 17 individuals; Emulation Flag of the Government for 2 collectives and Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee for outstanding collectives and individuals in the patriotic emulation movement.
