On September 30, a representative of Yen Hoa Ward Police (Hanoi) said that the authorities are investigating the cause of a person's death in the flooded sky.

On the afternoon of September 30, social networks shared a picture of a man who died on Dinh Nup Street, Yen Hoa Ward. Due to heavy rain in Hanoi and flooded streets, many people commented that the victim may have died from electric shock.

However, a representative of Yen Hoa Ward Police said that the police initially determined that the victim went drinking at noon. Before he died, the man called his wife and said "it's too much alcohol".

At around 3:00 p.m., people discovered that this person had died, next to a motorbike that had stalled. Forensic forces are determining the cause of death.

On the same afternoon, social networks also shared a photo of a young man lying unconscious in an alley on Nguyen Chi Thanh Street, suspected of being electrocuted.

The leader of Giang Vo Ward People's Committee confirmed the incident that occurred in the area, but could not confirm the cause of the electric shock.

"The victim went to a party with a group of friends and passed by the above location on the way back when he passed unconscious. Immediately afterwards, the electricity staff went to the scene to check and initially determined that there were no electric poles around. The ward police took the victim to the Transport Hospital for emergency treatment," added the leader of Giang Vo ward People's Committee.

The authorities are investigating the cause of both incidents.
