According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam, in 2024, relevant entities of the local tourism industry were honored nearly 70 times in polls and awards..., including many prestigious and prestigious international honors.

In addition, An Bang Beach (Hoi An) is in the top 10 most beautiful beaches in Asia (according to Tripadvisor). And especially, Tra Que Vegetable Village was honored by the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) as "Best Tourist Village 2024".
On the management side, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam was honored by the World Travel Awards as Asia's Leading Local Tourism Management Agency 2024.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hong, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam, assessed that being honored with prestigious domestic and international awards shows that Quang Nam tourism has a brand name in the international arena. This also contributes to building the brand "Quang Nam - Green tourism destination" to continue developing tourism products in a green and sustainable direction.
Set records for visitors and revenue
In 2024, Quang Nam tourism will have the highest number of visitors and revenue in history, with 8 million visitors and tourist accommodation, up 14% compared to 2023 and exceeding the plan by 6%. Of which, international visitors are estimated at 5.5 million, up 20% and exceeding the plan by 8%; domestic visitors are estimated at 2.5 million, up 7% and exceeding the plan by 1%.
Revenue from tourism and accommodation in 2024 is estimated at VND 9,200 billion, an increase of 19% compared to 2023. Social income from tourism is estimated at VND 21,620 billion.
According to the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam, in recent years, the rate of international tourists coming to Quang Nam has always accounted for 50 - 60% compared to domestic tourists.
“Quang Nam tourism has recovered, made a strong breakthrough, regained growth momentum and started to enter a new growth period. In the coming time, Quang Nam will continue to orient towards green tourism development and sustainable development, these are criteria that international tourists are very interested in and favor,” said Mr. Hong.
Mr. Nguyen Hung - Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Quang Nam said that the structure of the tourism - service sector is now equal (both reaching about 34%) and will continue to surpass the construction industry sector in the coming years. In the context of other economic sectors still facing difficulties, tourism along with the service sector will gradually lead the economy of Quang Nam.
