On February 22, the Border Guard Command of Binh Thuan province is coordinating to search for fishermen on a fishing boat that fell into the sea and went missing in Binh Thuan sea.
According to information from this unit, the fishing boat with registration number BTh 83918 TS, with a capacity of 230 CV, operating a fishing net with 7 workers, captained by Mr. Dang Thanh (born in 1973, residing in Phan Thiet city).

When the fishing boat was operating in the sea area about 13 nautical miles from Phan Thiet estuary, it was discovered that the worker on the boat, D.M.T (born in 1981; residing in Duc Long Ward, Phan Thiet City) had fallen into the sea and gone missing.
The captain asked two fishing boats operating near the same area to assist in the search but the missing victim has not been found.
The weather in the above area has Northeast winds of level 5 - level 6, gusting to level 7, waves from 2-3.5 m high.

Upon receiving the report, the Border Guard informed the boats and fishermen operating at sea near the above area to proactively observe and support the search. At the same time, the Maritime Search and Rescue Center Region III, the Coast Guard Region 3 Command, and the Naval Region 4 Command were notified to coordinate and support the search for the missing fishermen.
