Searching for female student suspected of committing suicide by jumping off a bridge in Dak Lak

    Dak Lak - Authorities are searching for a female student suspected of committing suicide by jumping off a bridge in the Serepok River area.

    On October 25, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Dak Lak Provincial Police) informed that the authorities are continuing to search for a missing female student in the lower Serepok River ( bridge area 14, Hoa Phu commune).

    According to initial information, at around 7am the same day, the authorities received a report from local residents about a female student suspected of jumping off a bridge. Next, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Dak Lak Provincial Police) dispatched a rescue boat with 12 officers and soldiers and 1 specialized rescue vehicle.

    The victim was identified as N.H.V.A (born in 2008). V.A is suspected of committing suicide by jumping off a bridge due to the pressure of studying.

    Currently, the authorities are continuing to search for the victim. However, due to unfavorable weather, rescue work encountered many difficulties.
