Previously, on June 13, immediately after collecting and bringing 2 sets of martyrs' remains and 1 mass grave at high point 685, Thanh Thuy commune to the morgue, the Team for searching and collecting martyrs' remains continued to find 2 sets of martyrs' remains that had not been identified at peak E4, high point 685.
Currently, the Team for searching for and repatriating martyrs' remains (Tuyen Quang Provincial Military Command) is making efforts to coordinate in collecting and verifying information and expanding the scope of searching for martyrs' remains in the high point area 685.
Hill 685 is an area that has witnessed many fierce battles, with many martyrs sacrificed. To speed up the search and repatriation of martyrs' remains, the Team has divided forces into 5 detachments, of which 3 detachments focus on searching in Thanh Thuy, Lao Chai, Minh Tan, Tung Vai, Nghia Thuan communes with a search area of nearly 800ha.
2 platoons directly participated with bomb and mine clearance teams, explosives, conducting surveys of nearly 500ha. At the same time, they continued to collect information, marking locations with trenches, fortifications and information about martyrs' remains.
