On January 12, Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha - Chairman of Tan Hoa Ward People's Committee, Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province informed that local people are taking care of an abandoned baby boy in the area.
Earlier, at around 6:30 a.m. the same day, people discovered a baby boy less than a month old abandoned on Pham Van Dong Street, Tan Hoa Ward.
At the time of discovery, the baby boy was wrapped in a thin blanket and had no other documents.
Due to the cold weather, people immediately took the boy to Tan Hoa Ward Health Station for a health check and reported to the authorities.
According to the Chairman of Tan Hoa Ward People's Committee, the baby boy's health is stable and he has no congenital defects. Local authorities are extracting camera footage to see who abandoned the baby boy. The ward is making announcements to find the baby's relatives.
