In the afternoon of July 17, information from the Military Command of Trinh Tuong commune, on the same morning, the unit received a notice from the Au Lau ward government about the discovery of a body floating on the Red River in the area of Residential Group No. 2.
The location of discovery is about 150 km away from the scene of the incident along the flow of the Red River.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Military Command of Trinh Tuong commune reported to competent authorities, and at the same time coordinated with functional forces to verify the victim's identity.
Through verification, the body was identified as Mr. Giang A.Kh (born 1995), residing in Tan Giang village, Trinh Tuong commune, who went missing in the drowning incident on the Red River that occurred on the morning of July 15.
Functional agencies are completing procedures according to regulations to hand over the body to the family for burial.
Previously, at about 6:30 am on July 15, Mr. Giang A.Kh and his son, grandson Giang S.V (born 2020), went down to the Red River bank area in Tan Giang village.
During the movement, Mr. Kh. unfortunately slipped and fell into the river and was swept away by the water.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Trinh Tuong commune government mobilized more than 100 officers and soldiers of the Commune Military Command, Commune Police, Trinh Tuong Border Guard Station, militia forces and local people to organize searches along the Red River and areas suspected of having victims.
Trinh Tuong Commune People's Committee also has a document requesting communes and wards along the Red River to strengthen coordination, monitor and promptly provide information when related signs are detected to support the search work.
During the search, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Trinh Tuong commune visited and encouraged the victim's family, and at the same time directed forces to focus maximum manpower and vehicles to deploy rescue and relief work.
