At the meeting, Mr. Phan Van Anh - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor highly appreciated the achievements that the officers and soldiers of Regiment 36 had made in 2024; hoping that in the coming time, the officers and soldiers of the Regiment will continue to excellently complete their tasks, promoting the fine traditions of Uncle Ho's soldiers.
“Regiment 36 is a military unit that has been twinned with the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor since the war against France. The Tet meeting further contributed to strengthening the relationship between the two units,” Mr. Phan Van Anh emphasized.
On behalf of the leadership and command of Regiment 36, Major Mai Van Thang (Deputy Regiment Commander - Chief of Staff) thanked the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for its affection for the officers and soldiers of the unit. The attention of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor is a great source of spiritual encouragement every time Tet comes, spring comes, helping the officers and soldiers of the unit to successfully complete their assigned tasks. At the same time, he sent New Year and health wishes to the entire Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Regiment 36 (Sub-region 14, Luong Son town, Hoa Binh province) was established on January 10, 1946, and was a unit sponsored by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor since its early days.
Currently, the unit operates as a permanent framework regiment consisting of nearly 80 officers and soldiers; its regular tasks are training new soldiers and reserve mobilization.
