Ho Chi Minh City bans car lanes on Le Loi street for 1 week

Ho Chi Minh City - Le Loi street (Saigon ward) will be banned from traffic for many days to serve the Technology Exhibition and music program.

On January 6, the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police Department (CSGT) informed that from 0:00 on January 6 to 24:00 on January 12, 2026, the car lane on Le Loi street (section from Nguyen Hue street to Pasteur, Saigon ward) will be banned from traffic to organize a Technology Exhibition and a music and art program to welcome the New Year 2026 of a business.

In which, from January 6 to January 9, construction of related items will be carried out; program will be organized on January 10; from January 11 to January 12, site clearance and dismantling will be carried out.

The Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police Department informed that to avoid the above area, people can travel into the mixed lane of Le Loi street or parallel roads such as Ham Nghi, Le Thanh Ton.

Routes intersecting with Le Loi street such as Pasteur, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Phan Boi Chau are still circulating normally.

The Traffic Police Department recommends that vehicle drivers reduce speed, comply with the instructions of functional forces and traffic signal systems when passing through the event area; do not stop or park vehicles on Le Loi street (mixed lane) or at the beginning of intersections to watch programs, causing traffic obstruction.

Based on the actual situation, the traffic police force will organize appropriate traffic diversion, minimizing the impact on travel and daily life of people in the city center area.
