Unified textbooks: Ho Chi Minh City prohibits forcing students to buy new ones
From the 2026-2027 school year, Ho Chi Minh City will unify the use of the "Connecting Knowledge with Life" textbook set throughout the general education system.
The Department of Education and Training requests schools to develop school education plans, organize professional activities, and inspect and evaluate students in accordance with the general education program, ensuring flexibility, proactiveness and practical suitability.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee recently approved the policy of the sea-crossing road project connecting Can Gio with Vung Tau in the form of public-private partnership (PPP), BT contract (build - transfer).

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction has just sent an urgent document to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee reporting on a plan to fundamentally solve the flooding situation in the city.
