HCMC - The overpass on Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 has crossed Cach Mang Thang 8 Street in Thuan An Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

The contractor is speeding up the construction progress of the overpass over Cach Mang Thang 8 Street, Thuan An Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. This is a project under construction package No. 3 of component project 5 of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, the section passing through Binh Duong province (formerly).

Recorded, on December 17, the construction unit completed the construction of the bridge over Cach Mang Thang 8 Street, Thuan An Ward.

Cach Mang Thang 8 Street, also known as DT 745 Road, is one of the important traffic routes in the Northwest of Ho Chi Minh City. This route runs along the Saigon River and parallel to National Highway 13. People in the old Binh Duong area often use this route to move to the center of Ho Chi Minh City.

When building Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3, the 4-lane overpass was designed to cross Cach Mang Thang 8 Street. This is considered a solution to ensure continuous traffic on Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 and Cach Mang Thang 8 Road.

Currently, the contractor is preparing to pour concrete on the overpass surface. The completion of the northern span of the bridge over Cach Mang Thang 8 road contributes to speeding up the progress of the Component 5 project of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3. This is the first overpass project of construction package 3 to complete the bridge span.

In addition to the overpass, the overpass over National Highway 13 and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai is also being accelerated. Construction contractors are also building the bridge span across National Highway 13, striving to complete the bridge span before December 19.

According to the Binh Duong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (project investor), construction package No. 3 of component project 5 of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 aims to open to traffic in 2025. Taking advantage of the sunny weather, contractors are focusing on construction, making efforts to ensure the set progress.

It is known that Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 passing through Binh Duong area was previously about 26.6 km long, with a total investment of VND 19,280 billion. There are 4 construction packages under construction with a total length of 11.6 km, 15.3 km overlapping with My Phuoc Tan Van road, and the complete investment plan is still being studied.
