Dak Lak - The authorities have salvaged a sleeper bus swept away by floodwaters in Xuan Phuoc commune.

On the afternoon of November 20, Dak Lak provincial authorities deployed rescue and salvaged a sleeper bus swept away by floodwaters in Xuan Phuoc commune.

The car with license plate 78B-008.xx was swept away by floodwaters and stranded. At the time of the salvage, there were no people on the vehicle and many parts were severely damaged.

People believe that the car may have parked on the sidewalk and was then suddenly swept away by the flood.

According to the Dak Lak Department of Construction, the whole province currently recorded 49 incidents including landslides and deep flooding. The North-South railwaybed was seriously affected, many sections of the stone foundation were washed away, the rails were covered with sand and soil, and some locations were flooded up to 40cm.

Water in Cu Pui, Ea Pan, Krong A, Ea Ba communes... continues to rise, with many new landslides appearing. Some suspension bridges were threatened by strong water, forcing authorities to set up checkpoints to ensure safety.
