In recent days, the temporary suspension of traffic through the Hien River underpass to demolish the project has significantly affected the traffic situation in the central area of Thuc Phan ward.
Accordingly, on the morning of October 22, the local government conducted a fence, prohibiting all vehicles and people from circulating and passing through the Hien River underpass.

Traffic volume has increased dramatically, especially on streets near the bridge - an important connecting route between Thuc Phan ward, Tan Giang ward and the provincial administrative center.
Recorded on October 26, the underpass of the Hien River was originally a short, convenient way of travel, chosen by many people when traveling between the old Song Hien and Hop Giang wards.
However, since this project was temporarily suspended, traffic congestion has occurred. According to the traffic diversion plan of Thuc Phan Ward People's Committee, people are advised to change direction to move through Song Hien Bridge.
In fact, the traffic flow in one direction causes traffic congestion in the Song Hien bridge area, Cu streets, Hoang Dinh Giong, Hoang Nhu... often, especially during rush hour.

Ms. Mong Thi Nga (Nung Tri Cao ward) - shared: "On October 24, I picked my child up right at rush hour, the road is always congested, especially at intersections or roundabouts, just as if I was living in Hanoi, not Cao Bang".
Sharing the same thought, Mr. Nong Tien Dung (Thuc Phan ward) hopes that the local government will soon have a more scientific traffic diversion plan and that people should also proactively look for routes that can go further but avoid traffic jams.
Faced with the above situation, the People's Committee of Thuc Phan Ward said that the unit has arranged signs, instructions on traffic flow and regulation at key traffic points.

The demolition and repair of the Hien River underpass is being accelerated to complete soon, minimizing the impact on people's lives.
At the same time, the situation of vehicles stopping and parking in violation of regulations in densely populated areas, especially around food and beverage service establishments, karaoke businesses, etc. also puts more pressure on the urban transport system.
Therefore, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order Police (Cao Bang Provincial Police) is coordinating with functional units to establish an interdisciplinary working group to strengthen patrols, control, and handle violations in Thuc Phan, Nung Tri Cao, and Tan Giang wards.
The temporary suspension of the traffic of the Hien River underpass, although causing local impacts, is a necessary solution to protect the project and stabilize the flow of the Hien River
