Starting from October 21, the Ministry of National Defense's 319 Corporation - the investor of the Uy No social housing project (Dong Anh commune, Hanoi) began receiving documents. With a location not too far from the city center, this project has received the attention and sought after of many people.
According to PV on October 24, although it had been more than 3 days since the investor started receiving the application, since more than 7am, people had long lines waiting to submit the application. Many people said they arrived at the project at 3am to reserve their seats.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tu (Hung Yen province), a mechanical worker and currently renting a room in Co Nhue area, said that he had received project information many months ago and was just waiting for the time to receive the application to submit.
"I thought it would be very crowded on the first day, so I had to wait a few days to get there, but I didn't expect it to be so crowded, yesterday I came but didn't get my turn because many people had been lining up since 2-3am. Today, I also went from 3am to get the ticket and was able to submit it," said Mr. Tu.
At the end of the morning work hours, there were still dozens of people lining up until the afternoon to submit their documents. This is a project with a favorable location, so many workers are waiting for it.
The Uy No social housing project consists of 4 9-storey blocks with 1 basement, with a population of about 1,070 people. The investment form is direct investment using non-budgetary capital.
The total number of apartments is 466, including 419 social housing apartments for sale and 47 apartments for rent, with the area of apartments ranging from 40m2 to 76.6m2.
The investor's representative said that the temporary selling price of apartments is about 20.6 million VND/m2 (excluding maintenance fees), equivalent to the price of each social housing unit here ranging from 824 million VND to more than 1.57 billion VND/unit. Meanwhile, the average rental price is 288,527 VND/m2/month. The project is expected to be handed over in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The time to receive documents to buy Uy No social housing is from October 21 to November 25, 2025. On average, investors will receive about 50-60 sets of documents per day.
It is expected that in 2025, Hanoi will complete about 4,730 social housing units, exceeding the assigned plan by about 60 units.
