On the afternoon of June 11, the leader of Tran De Fishing Port (Tran De District, Soc Trang Province) said that a serious work accident had just occurred here, killing one person.
The victim was Mr. N.T.P (33 years old, residing in Trung Binh commune, Tran De district).
At around 11am the same day, while operating a ice cream grinder at the port, Mr. P suddenly slipped and got caught in a working machine. The incident caused his right leg to be crushed to the sides of his knee.
Although he was taken to Soc Trang General Hospital for emergency treatment, Mr. P did not survive due to losing too much blood.
The leader of Tran De Fishing Port said that he is coordinating with relevant agencies to support the victim's family in handling the funeral and clarifying the cause of the incident.
