On July 8, the leader of Tuy An Traffic Police Station, Traffic Police Department of Dak Lak Province Police said that the unit had directed forces to urgently search for the vehicle that caused the fatal accident on National Highway 1 and then fled the scene.
According to initial information, at around 10:50 a.m. the same day, at Km1291+200 National Highway 1 (in An Thanh Quarter, Xuan Dai Ward), a motorbike with license plate 78H1-163.57 driven by Ms. A (born in 1964, residing in Tuy An Bac Commune) traveling in the North - South direction collided with a car (license plate and characteristics unknown).
The accident caused Ms. A to die on the spot. After the collision, the car involved quickly left the scene.
"We have arranged a working group to move south to search for the vehicle that caused the accident, and continue to extract images from surveillance cameras on the route to serve the investigation," informed the leader of Tuy An Traffic Police Station.
The incident is being further investigated and clarified by the authorities.
