The People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District has just issued a document reporting to the People's Committee of Hanoi City to consider allowing the cutting and relocation of some trees in the land of the Ly Thai To flower garden renovation investment project.
Hoan Kiem District said that according to the design plan to renovate and upgrade Ly Thai To flower garden, 25 trees will have to be cut down and moved, because these trees are located on the walking path and on the water music system of the project.
Accordingly, 8 trees including yellow anh, incense sticks, royal bird's nest, plantain, slice, red thorn and 2 sesame trees will have to have their trunks and canopy cut down to move inside the flower garden.
There are 8 trees including incense sticky rice, pearls, 3 lentil trees, 3 cool canopy trees that have to be cut down and tan to move out of the flower garden.
In addition, 9 trees including cool canopy, slices, rich in water, black mounds, western canopy, incense sticks, liem and 2 sesame trees due to rot and underdevelopment will have to be cut down. These trees will be cut down and not replanted.
As reported by Lao Dong, Hoan Kiem district is preparing to implement an investment project to renovate Ly Thai To flower garden. The total preliminary investment of the project is more than 182 billion VND from the Hoan Kiem District budget.
Hoan Kiem District also plans to place the Km0 milestone right in front of the King Ly Thai To monument.
Ly Thai To Flower Garden is located in Trang Tien Ward, Hoan Kiem District with an area of over 10,000m2, surrounded by Dinh Tien Hoang, Le Thach, Le Lai and Ngo Quyen streets.
