As a result, 3 passengers on the car were injured and taken to the emergency room. A passenger, Ms. M.T.C (residing in Nguyen Trai ward) was returned to the hospital and died at 8:05 a.m.
Also on December 2, at 8:00 a.m., an accident occurred at km 95+550 of National Highway 5 (Jade 3 PG An Dong) in An Hai Ward. A tractor-trailer traveling from Hanoi to Hai Phong driven by Mr. N.D.D (born in 1973, residing in Nguyen Van Troi area, Nam Sach commune) collided with a motorbike traveling in the same direction. The collision caused the motorbike driver, Ms. L.T.L (born in 1994, residing in Lai Chau province) to die at the scene.
The initial cause was determined to be that the motorbike driver ran a red light and turned left onto the cross-road in front of the tractor-trailer that was moving at a green light going straight.
