The investment project to build a new Cay Bridge approach road and a 33m extended road (through Cam Giang district) connecting Vu Cong Dan Street (Hai Duong City) was started in November 2024 with a total investment of nearly 470 billion VND.
The route has a total length of 3.24 km, including 2 sections: section 1 is 0.67km long, connecting Vu Cong Dan road (Hai Duong city) with the 33m road through the expanded Dai An industrial park in Cam Doan commune. Section 2 is 2.53km long from the intersection with Provincial Road 394 to the new Cay village in Cam Dong commune.
The total area recovered for the project is about 13.37 hectares, involving 191 households with about 7 resettlement households. To date, there are about 1.7km of road that have not been handed over to the construction unit involving more than 30 households in Cam Giang district.
After listening to the report and inspecting the construction site, Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to coordinate with Cam Giang district to urgently review the difficulties in site clearance.
Cam Giang district focuses on propaganda and mobilizing affected households to comply with the handover of the site. At the same time, make the most of policies and support to ensure full rights for people; have a plan to arrange temporary housing for households subject to relocation.
The Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee also requested that when the site is handed over, contractors must focus maximum human resources and machinery to speed up the construction progress to complete the project.
