South Korean baby whale drifting ashore

    Ha Tinh On the morning of March 14, local fishermen discovered a carcass of a baby whale weighing about 100kg drifting ashore in Thach Hai commune (Ha Tinh city).

    A leader of the People's Committee of Thach Hai commune informed that early this morning (March 14), a group of local fishermen discovered a body of elephant drifting ashore in Nam Hai village, Thach Hai commune.

    Immediately after the discovery, people called the local authorities. Through inspection, the whale weighed about 100 kg, was 1.5 m long, and many parts were decomposing.
