Floodwaters cut off National Highway 70B
On the evening of September 29, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a leader of the People's Committee of Phu Khe Commune, Phu Tho Province, said that after many hours of heavy rain, a flash flood occurred in the Da Tho Temple area along National Highway 70B through the area.
Heavy rain caused landslides at the foot of Da Tho Temple, floods brought water and mud down the National Highway, overflowing into people's houses. Fortunately, there were no human or property damage in the above area and other places in the commune that are being counted.
Currently, the Phu Khe commune government and functional forces are urgently supporting people, cleaning up, moving assets... National Highway 70B, Den Da Tho section (the road from the old Cam Khe district to the old Yen Lap district) is temporarily cut off, vehicles cannot travel.

"Along with the recovery work, Phu Khe commune will continue to monitor the developments of storms and floods, deploy forces to key locations, and be ready to respond to possible incidents" - the leader of Phu Khe commune People's Committee shared.
The water level of the Bua River exceeds Alert Level 3
On September 29, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Phu Tho province issued Alert Order 3 on the Bua River.
Accordingly, at 5:00 p.m., the water level of the Bua River at Thanh Son Hydrological Station had reached 26.06m, 0.06m above Alert Level 3 and is expected to continue to rise.
Therefore, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Phu Tho province issued Alert 3 on the Bua River, requesting the People's Committees of the communes: Vo Mieu, Thanh Son, Tho Van, Dong Luong, Van Xuan to immediately deploy forces, materials and means according to the regulations.
Organize patrols and guardings according to regulations and take timely measures to handle incidents and damage to dykes, embankments and culverts. Operate sewers and pumping stations along the river according to the correct procedures, ensuring safety.

Along with that, notify people living outside the dike and low-lying areas along the river to proactively evacuate when the river water rises.
The above localities need to ensure communication and report all situations to the Department of Agriculture and Environment (through the Department of Irrigation and Water Resources).
Emergency evacuation of 372 households in areas at risk of landslides and flash floods
As of 5:00 p.m. on September 29, due to the impact of storm No. 10, there were no human casualties in Phu Tho province, 20 houses were damaged, roofs were blown off, flooded, and landslides occurred.
Damage to agriculture and forestry was recorded at 191.1 hectares of rice and crops that were flooded, breaking a section of ditch about 15m long. Traffic was affected with 31 landslides, the volume of landslides was about 4,275m3. Two power poles fell, the 0.4kV line was broken.

A health station had its embankment and walls collapsed, about 20m long; the water tank was damaged; a kindergarten was flooded with mud in the classroom; a cultural house in the residential area had about 20m2 of corrugated iron roof blown off.
To ensure the safety of life and property, communes and wards have evacuated 372 households with about 1,467 people from areas at risk of landslides and flash floods. The local Civil Defense Command mobilized forces to support the damage, relocation and organization of inspection and assessment.
Forces are assigned to be on duty 24/24 hours, regularly updating storm situations, proactively responding to response plans. At the same time, militia and villages are required to review and guard traffic routes and spillways to ensure smooth travel.
