On December 23, Binh Thanh District Police are investigating the cause of an accident between a bus, a motorbike and a bicycle that left two people injured and hospitalized.
Initial information, at around 6am the same day, bus route number 31 (Tan Quy residential area - Ben Thanh - Binh Loi residential area route), driven by driver N.B.D (50 years old) was running on No Trang Long street, from Nguyen Xi street to Binh Loi street.
When the bus reached the intersection of No Trang Long Street and Vu Ngoc Phan Street, Ward 13, Binh Thanh District, the bus suddenly swerved into the opposite lane, hitting a motorbike driven by Ms. C (60 years old, living in Binh Thanh District) and a man's bicycle.
The two victims fell onto the road and were dragged along by the bus for a distance. As a result, the two victims were injured and were taken to the hospital by local people for emergency treatment.
At the scene, the motorbike was caught under the bus and severely damaged. The bicycle was pushed onto the sidewalk, leaving long plow marks on the road surface.
Binh Thanh District authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
