According to initial information, at about 4 pm on the same day, at Km 1425+800 on the Ho Chi Minh road, the section through Lo Xo pass (belonging to Dak Polo commune, Quang Ngai province), Mr. Pham Van Sam (born 1985, residing in Thi Nai ward, Gia Lai province) was driving a tractor-trailer pulling a semi-trailer, traveling in the direction from Quang Ngai to Da Nang, carrying wheat flour. When arriving at this area, the vehicle suddenly caught fire, the driver quickly pulled the vehicle to the side of the road.
At the scene, the fire broke out fiercely, covering the front of the car. Traffic police and units urgently deployed firefighting plans.
Initially, the incident did not cause any casualties. The front of the trailer truck was completely burned, and the wheat flour on the truck was partially burned. The cause of the fire is currently being clarified.
By about 6:30 PM on the same day, the fire was basically under control. Functional forces are still supporting the driver to bring the goods on the accident vehicle down to ensure safety.
