On the evening of February 9, information from representatives of Xuan Quang Commune People's Committee, at about 5:20 pm on the same day, Xuan Quang Commune Police (Lao Cai province) received a report from Mr. Tran Van Tuan (born 1964, residing in Nam Du village) about a serious traffic accident occurring on National Highway 70.
According to initial reports, at 5:15 pm, at Km150 National Highway 70, passing through Nam Du village, Xuan Quang commune, a tractor truck with license plate: 24C-032. 64 pulling a trailer with license plate 24R-012. 79 driven by Mr. Pham Van Thanh (born 1995, residing in Phu Hai 3 village, Tang Loong commune) in the direction of Bao Yen - Xuan Quang collided with a motorbike with license plate: 24B1-759. 13.
The motorbike was driven by Ms. Vu Thi Hau (born 1987, residing in Group 8, Bao Yen commune) in the direction of Xuan Quang - Bao Yen, carrying her son Vu Duy Duc (born 2012) behind.
As a result, Ms. Vu Thi Hau died on the spot. Duc suffered scratches on his head and was taken to a medical facility by people for emergency treatment. The motorbike was heavily damaged.
Immediately after receiving the news, Xuan Quang Commune Police were present at the scene, coordinating with the Traffic Police force to organize traffic diversion, scene examination, and investigate the cause of the accident.
