Initial information, at around 11am on September 11, a traffic accident occurred at Km 115+800 on National Highway 4D, passing through Chu Lin 2 village, Ta Phin commune.
At that time, the passenger bus driven by driver Le Son, carrying 36 passengers traveling from Sa Pa (Lao Cai) to Thanh Hoa, suddenly had a problem with brake failure when getting into the corner.
When reaching the steep bend, the uncontrolled vehicle crashed into a roadside guardrail.
Immediately afterwards, the driver proactively drove the car into the positive slope of Trung Chai Primary School to slow down and avoid catastrophic consequences.
The strong collision caused severe damage to the front of the car. The three injured passengers on the bus were taken to Lao Cai General Hospital No. 4 for emergency treatment.
Among the victims, there was a person with a broken right leg and right arm.
The authorities quickly arrived at the scene to direct traffic and investigate the cause of the accident.
