The incident occurred at 9:50 a.m. on April 22, at Ta Hine Kindergarten, Ta Hine commune, Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province.
According to initial information, at the time of the incident, K.D.L. (5 years old) was playing in the schoolyard when a chain reaction fell on him.
The teacher in charge of the class discovered the incident and immediately took the baby to the Ta Hine Commune Health Station for emergency care. However, due to severe injuries, the baby died.
After receiving the report, the authorities quickly arrived to investigate and clarify the cause of the incident.
Leaders of Duc Trong District People's Committee and representatives of related units visited, encouraged and supported the family in arranging the child's funeral.
