On April 22 and 23, information spread on social networks about parents of Dong Linh Primary School (Dong Linh Ward, Thanh Hoa City) expressing their frustration at the homeroom teacher of class 5D asking parents to write a report to the principal, related to some students not turning off their electrical equipment during recess.
The information after being posted attracted the attention of the online community, with many opinions that, in hot weather, not allowing students to use electrical equipment is unreasonable.

Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper about the incident, Mr. Cao Ngoc Nam - Principal of Dong Linh Primary School - said: "The information that parents reported is somewhat inaccurate. I myself did not instruct the teacher to ask parents to write a report, nor did I lower the student's conduct for not turning off the electrical equipment".
According to Mr. Nam, the incident occurred on the afternoon of April 22, when the teacher was on duty to check the classes during the recess and discovered 4 students in the 5D class were still in the classroom and did not turn off the electrical equipment. The teacher reported the incident in the school's management team. After that, he only said that criticizing 5D class, not required to write a report.
However, Mr. Le Van Son - the homeroom teacher of class 5D - misunderstood this idea and informed the group of parents that it was necessary to write a report to the Principal. Mr. Son later admitted this.
"Because in the past, students often went back and forth in class and used electrical equipment ineffectively, I said that, to influence parents to remind them to save more electricity," Mr. Son explained.
Principal of Dong Linh Primary School Cao Ngoc Nam added that after receiving information about the parents' frustration, the school went to meet in person, discuss and explain the incident. Parents later understood and deleted the information posted on social networks.
It is known that Dong Linh Primary School currently has two areas: area A is the main point with more than 460 students, area B has 115 students and is about 3km from the main point. The above incident occurred in area B.
