According to records, the trio of luxury and supercars including two Aston Martin Rapide and a Ferrari 488 Spider appeared together in Ho Chi Minh City. The car lineup with sporty design and striking colors quickly became the focus on the streets.
Among them, the Aston Martin Rapide S is an upgraded version that the British automaker introduced at the New York Motor Show 2013. This 4-door coupe model has a distinctive design with a large seamless grille, replacing the two-tier split style in the previous generation.
The car is equipped with a front bumper integrated with carbon fiber aerodynamic details, the body retains the soft curves characteristic of Aston Martin. At the rear, the taillights and exterior details are refined in a more modern direction.
The interior of the Rapide S is luxurious with a 4-seater configuration, high-class leather seats and many wood trim details. The ADS adaptive suspension system provides three operating modes including Normal, Sport and Track.
In terms of operation, the Aston Martin Rapide S uses a V12 engine upgraded to 550 horsepower, about 80 horsepower more powerful than the first generation. The car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds before reaching a top speed of 306 km/h.
Meanwhile, the Ferrari 488 Spider is an electric folding hardtop version developed from the 488 GTB model. The car was first introduced by Ferrari in 2015 and launched to the public at the Frankfurt Motor Show that year.
This convertible supercar uses a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, producing a maximum power of 670 horsepower. The Ferrari 488 Spider can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3 seconds and reach a top speed of about 325 km/h.
The highlight of the Ferrari 488 Spider is the metal roof system that opens and closes on electricity for about 14 seconds, helping the car still ensure aerodynamics when operating at high speeds.
