Of which, there are two locations at the headquarters of the Traffic Police Department at 21 Ha Huy Tap, Buon Ma Thuot Ward and 999 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Binh Kien Ward.
The remaining 23 locations are located right at the police headquarters of communes and wards, contributing to bringing administrative services closer to the people.
Each driving license renewal point is fully equipped with the necessary equipment to ensure an effective working process.
Information about public services and the issuance and exchange process are publicly posted, making it easy for people to grasp.
Working hours are from Monday to Friday, and Saturday morning (7:30 - 11:00) to facilitate people.
Recorded at the Krong Nang Commune Police (No. 47 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Krong Nang Commune), officers were present from early morning, ready to handle the citizen's records.
At the driver's license exchange counter, two officers were deployed to receive documents and guide people.
Captain Pham Tien Dung, an officer of the Krong Nang Commune Police, said that all procedures for granting and renewing driving licenses have been publicly posted at the headquarters for people to easily follow.
When coming to do the procedure, citizens will be guided by the staff through paper and the Online Public Service Portal. The complete dossier will be processed in 20 - 30 minutes.
At the headquarters of Buon Ho Ward Police (No. 4 Tran Hung Dao), the unit has arranged two officers to carry out the work of issuing, exchanging and reissuing driving licenses.
The listing of fee collection according to Circular 37/2023/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance, regulating the collection and management of driving test fees, fees for granting degrees and registering specialized vehicles, has been made public in the citizen reception area.
Major Tran Dac Chuong, Deputy Head of Buon Ho Ward Police, said that since March 2025, the old Buon Ho Town Police have taken on the task of issuing and renewing driving licenses.
Thanks to that, the staff in this department have experience and are no longer confused when performing their tasks.
In addition to the advantages, Major Chuong pointed out the difficulty that many people do not have smartphones or are not proficient in technology, leading to limitations in registering for documents online.
To ensure that the police of 23 communes and wards receive the task of issuing, exchanging and reissuing driving licenses smoothly, Major Tran Anh Tong, Captain of the Road Motor Vehicle Driving and Licensing Team (Traffic Police Department) said that the unit has established 5 working groups.
These teams will inspect and guide facilities, human resources, and file settlement processes.
At the inspection sites, the working groups all acknowledged the efforts of the commune-level police units that quickly caught up, deployed the reception and settlement of records for people quickly and effectively.
