According to statistics from the Traffic Police Department, Dien Bien Provincial Police, from January 1 to 10, 2025, the Traffic Police force detected more than 200 cases of traffic violations. Currently, the Traffic Police Department has sent "cold fine" notices to vehicle owners.
Accordingly, there were 7 cars, 14 motorbikes, scooters, and electric scooters violating the speed limit; 23 cars and 188 motorbikes, scooters, and electric scooters did not comply with traffic light signals (running red lights).
