After the historic flood on the night of November 19 and the morning of November 20, tens of thousands of vehicles of people in Tay Nha Trang ward and Dien Khanh area were deeply flooded and severely damaged.
auto repair shops and warranty centers are overloaded, many places are forced to stop receiving customers.
At CT6 Vinh Diem Trung apartment building in Tay Nha Trang ward, nearly 100 cars stalled due to overnight soaking in water, lying everywhere in the parking lot and apartment yard.


A resident living in CT6 apartment building said that even though he had brought his motorbike into the parking lot to avoid flooding, the water still rose to the hood. This resident estimates that the repair cost is certainly very large.
Along the routes of Vinh Diem Trung urban area and under Ngoc Hoi intersection, cars were flooded and parked on both sides of the road.
Faced with the increasing demand for flooded car repairs, showrooms and garages in Nha Trang area have all announced overload.


Deep flooding also occurred for motorbikes in CT4, CT5, CT6, CT7 apartment buildings.
The water receded, residents immediately checked but most of them could not start because their machines were submerged in floodwaters.


By noon, repair shops in Vinh Diem Trung urban area and along the 23/10 road were all closed or announced to stop receiving vehicles because the number of vehicles waiting for repair exceeded their capacity.
Many people had to take their vehicles from Vinh Ngoc, Vinh Hiep, Vinh Thanh areas to the center of Nha Trang to find a place to repair them.
Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, a resident of Vinh Diem Trung area, said that in the morning he took his car along some roads in Nha Trang to repair them, but they all refused because they were overloaded.
At the auto repair shop in Dong Nai market, motorbikes lined up on the sidewalk. Similarly, the car repair shop near Ma Vong intersection on 23/10 Street was also packed with people waiting for their turn to repair their cars.
In the context of many difficulties after the flood, the damage of tens of thousands of vehicles has made people's lives even more difficult.
Many opinions say that the locality needs to support connecting repair facilities, recommend procedures for treating vehicles after flooding to minimize risks and costs for people.
