At the end of February 2025, the Department of Construction of Khanh Hoa province issued a document responding to a citizen's petition on integrating driver's license information into the VNeID electronic identification and authentication system.
Previously, Mr. Nguyen Binh Phuong Nguyen (residing in Khanh Hoa province) reported on the integration of driver's license information into the VNeID electronic identification and authentication system.
During the process of updating information on digital transformation of driver's licenses to the VNeID application, Mr. Nguyen received results that were not satisfactory.
Reason for "not finding driver's license information of citizens". From there, Mr. Phuong Nguyen questioned why after digital transformation, departments and branches do not synchronously update data but must be citizens to supplement.
Receiving citizens' feedback, the Department of Construction has checked the database on the Driver's License Management Software System.
Through inspection, the Department found that the driving license of Mr. Nguyen Binh Phuong Nguyen issued in 2006 (in paper material) had been synchronized to the data system of the Ministry of Transport.
Citizens can look up their driving license information on the Ministry of Transport's system at https://gplx.gov.vn/.
According to the Department of Construction, currently, the driving license of Mr. Nguyen Binh Phuong Nguyen issued in 2006 (in paper materials according to the ID card number) cannot be integrated into VneID.
The Department of Construction recommends that you contact the Khanh Hoa Provincial Public Administration Service Center to complete procedures for issuing and renewing new PET driving licenses (to synchronize personal information according to personal identification codes).
