The Traffic Police Department reported that from 12:00 on November 18, 2025 to 12:00 on November 19, 2025, through extracting data from AI cameras piloted in Hanoi's inner city (intersection of Pham Van Bach - Hoang Quan Chi streets), motorbike owners were automatically detected violating the following violations: 54 cases of not obeying traffic light signals - running red lights; 11 cases of motorbike drivers not wearing helmets.

Previously, Thanh Hoa Police announced the results of detecting vehicles violating traffic safety order through the security camera system to monitor traffic order and safety from October 11, 2025 to October 20, 2025. People should note the fine for motorbike drivers who violate new regulations according to Decree 168/2024/ND-CP as follows:
Motorcyclists who run red lights will be fined from 4-6 million VND (the old fine was 800,000 VND to 1 million VND).
Motorcyclists who do not wear helmets will be fined from 400,000 to 600,000 VND.
To pay the fine, people can go to the police station where the fine was discovered or go to the police station to resolve the violation according to regulations.
However, according to the new recommendation of the People's Traffic Police Department, people should go to the headquarters of the traffic police department where they have permanent residence to handle, not go to the place where violations are detected in another locality for handling, which is both overloaded for the authorities and requires long trips.
