In the context of authorities preparing to tighten motorbike emission inspection, many gasoline motorbikes have lowered prices by the end of May 2025.

The motorbike market "cools down"

The domestic motorbike market at the end of May recorded a widespread downward trend. Major brands such as Honda and Yamaha simultaneously adjusted their dealers' prices, many models even dropped below the suggested level. Not only popular vehicles, many scooter models that are considered "attractive" cannot avoid this adjustment.

The Honda SH Mode model is currently only about 4 million VND higher than the suggested price, a sharp decrease compared to the beginning of the month.

Although Honda Vision 2025 has an actual price of about 500,000 to 1 million VND higher than the suggested price, it is still at a reasonable level.

The Lead and Air Blade 125 lines continue to be stable at a level 1-2 million VND lower than the suggested level. Notably, the domestically assembled SH 350i model is currently being sold for 2 - 3 million VND.

Meanwhile, manual transmission motorbikes such as Wave Alpha 110, Wave RSX, Winner X also have slight discounts, from 300,000 VND to 10 million VND, depending on the vehicle line and the selling area.

On Yamaha's side, scooter models such as Grande, NVX, Latte, Freego continue to keep actual prices 1 to 2 million VND lower than the suggested price. The manual clutch Exciter 155 - popular with young people - has also decreased by 1 to 3 million VND compared to the list. Sirius and Jupiter models keep prices stable, but are still 300,000 to 800,000 VND lower than the suggested price.

"national" Sirius and Wave RSX motorbikes also decreased in price

In the context of users increasingly paying attention to fuel consumption and long-term usage costs, two popular manual transmission models, Yamaha Sirius and Honda Wave RSX, continue to receive great attention.

Wave RSX 2025 is distributed in three versions: mechanical brake bracelet, disc brake bracelet and disc brake rim. According to a survey at HEAD Honda dealers nationwide, the actual price in May 2025 ranges from 21.7 million VND to 25 million VND depending on the version, 300,000 - 500,000 VND lower than the suggested price. In the Hanoi area, the rolling price ranges from 25 to 28.2 million VND, depending on the version.

In terms of performance, the Wave RSX 110 Fi is equipped with a 110cc engine, PGM-Fi electronic fuel injection, moderate power, fuel consumption of about 1.7 liters/100km in mixed conditions, suitable for users traveling regularly or delivering goods.

Similar to Honda, Yamaha Sirius 2025 also has two main lines: the version using traditional air conditioners and the Fi electronic fuel injection. Both have optional mechanical brakes, disc brakes and cast rims.

The suggested price of Sirius 2025 ranges from 19 million to 24 million VND, while the actual dealer price is only from 18.5 million to 23.8 million VND, down 300,000 - 600,000 VND compared to the list. In Hanoi, the common rolling price is from 21.7 million to 27 million VND.

In terms of engine, Sirius is equipped with a 115cc, air-cooled engine, with a capacity of 8.8 horsepower at 7,000 rpm, maximum torque of 9Nm at 5,500 rpm. The Fi has an average fuel consumption of about 1.9 liters/100km - slightly higher than the Wave RSX but is still considered economical in the segment.

The biggest advantage of Sirius lies in its sporty design, light weight of only about 9697kg, compact and easy-to-use design. Yamaha also upgraded the Fi version with an electronic system, providing a smoother and more sensitive operating experience.
