Accordingly, from July 1, the Center for Technical Inspection of Mechanical Vehicles and Equipment of Traffic (Dien Bien Department of Construction; located at Group 10, Thanh Truong Ward, Dien Bien Phu City) will stop collecting tolls and fees in cash.
All revenues related to technical inspection of motor vehicles and equipment will be made through non-cash payment methods, including: bank transfer; QR code scanning; accepted e-wallets (Momo, ZaloPay, VNPT Pay...).
The center said that customers should prepare appropriate payment methods before coming to the transaction to avoid wasting time waiting.
This decision was made to synchronize with the general policy of the Government and the People's Committee of Dien Bien province on promoting non-cash payments.
According to the recommendation from the Vietnam Register, before taking a vehicle for inspection, the vehicle owner should pay attention to some details to ensure the procedure goes smoothly, avoid being refused inspection or having to travel many times.
First of all, people need to proactively look up fines before registering.
Vehicles that are being fined will not be inspected. Therefore, vehicle owners should look up violations on official applications such as VNeTraffic (Ministry of Public Security) or TTDK - Car registration Schedule System, to promptly pay the fine and complete the documents before the inspection date.
Instead of coming directly and waiting, the vehicle owner should book a pre-inspection appointment via the application or website https://ttdk.com.vn/. This helps proactively reduce time, reduce the load on inspection centers and limit congestion.
