On February 3, according to a report from Lam Dong Department of Health, medical examination and treatment for people during the Lunar New Year holiday was guaranteed.
Medical examination and treatment facilities have arranged staff at all levels to be on duty 24/7. During Tet, there were no recorded cases of food poisoning in the province. There were no major infectious disease outbreaks in the community.
There were 6 cases of accidents caused by firecrackers; 2 cases of accidents caused by homemade weapons and explosives. The whole province had 642 emergency cases due to traffic accidents.
Previously, police forces at all levels in Lam Dong province have cracked down on many cases of illegal trading, storage, and transportation of firecrackers.
Thereby, the police seized a large quantity of firecrackers and prosecuted many related subjects to strictly handle them as a deterrent.
The police force also deployed many measures to ensure traffic order and safety during Tet.
During the Lunar New Year holiday, traffic police detected and fined 1,029 violations. Compared to the same period last year, the number of violations decreased by 404 cases.
From January 25 to February 2, there were 5 traffic accidents in the province, killing 3 people and injuring 6 others.
Compared to the same period last year, there were 9 fewer cases, 3 fewer deaths, and 8 fewer injuries.
