On August 10, Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee organized an online conference to review the progress of implementing the plan for periodic health check-ups and free screening for people in the province in 2026.
According to the report of the Department of Health, the organization of examinations is carried out according to the motto that localities take the lead in organizing and implementing, the health sector provides professional guidance and directly performs examinations. People's Committees of communes and wards are responsible for reviewing, compiling lists of subjects, developing plans, arranging locations and coordinating with medical facilities; the health sector develops detailed plans, assigning hospitals to organize examinations by area.
Examination forms are flexibly deployed at hospitals, health stations and mobile examination points, suitable to the actual conditions of each locality.
To date, 100% of communes and wards have issued plans and organized periodic health check-ups or free screenings; 100% of hospitals assigned to take the lead in implementation have also issued plans and implemented assigned tasks.
As of August 10, the whole province has 4,412,256 people; regular health check-ups or screenings have been performed for 882,451 people, equivalent to 20% of the province's population. In the coming time, in the last 5 months of the year, the whole province will have about 3,529,805 people, equivalent to 80% of the population, who need to be examined to complete the set target.
