One day after storm No. 3 passed, the investor and contractors are focusing on human resources, machinery, equipment and materials to speed up the construction progress at the Bach Mai Hospital Project and Viet Duc Hospital, Facility 2 in Ninh Binh (formerly the old Ha Nam province).
Present at the Bach Mai Hospital Project and Viet Duc Hospital, Facility 2 in Phu Ly Ward, Ninh Binh Province on July 23, according to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, the rough construction items of both projects have basically been completed.
Contractors are mobilizing hundreds of workers along with equipment and machinery to install electricity and water systems and interior.
For the Viet Duc Hospital Project, facility 2, the consortium of contractors for package 1 of Viet Duc Hospital 2 said that regarding the design and construction package of the main project, the contractor is mobilizing nearly 200 workers to speed up the construction progress.
"Our part of the work is to ensure that it will be completed by September 15" - affirmed the representative of the Joint Venture of Contractors for Package No. 1 of Viet Duc 2 Hospital.
As for the Bach Mai Hospital 2 Project, there is currently only a delay in electromechanical part. The representative of the Joint Venture of Contractors for Package 1 of the Bach Mai Hospital Project, Facility 2, said that they have already ordered electromechanical equipment and will also complete all work by September 15, 2025.
Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc - Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee - said that the province has started construction of a social housing area with a total of 610 apartments to complete by the end of this year, serving accommodation for staff of the above 2 Hospitals.
"Ninh Binh province is ready to meet the requirements for the two hospitals to soon be put into operation so that people in the southern area of the Red River Delta can conveniently come to see a doctor and receive treatment" - Mr. Ngoc affirmed.
Recently, on July 21, the Government Office issued Notice No. 378/TB-VPCP on the conclusion of Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long during his visit and inspection of the Viet Duc Hospital 2 Facility Construction Investment Project and the Bach Mai Hospital 2 Facility Construction Investment Project in Ninh Binh.
Accordingly, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long requested the Ministry of Health, the Project Management Board, contractors and relevant ministries and agencies to be more determined, efforts, and proactive and highly focus on intelligence, resources, and synchronously, drastically, and effectively implement the tasks and solutions set out to achieve the goal of completing and putting the two hospitals into use before November 30, 2025.
This is to serve the work of caring for and protecting people's health, not to let it go to waste, while contributing to reducing hospital overload and improving the quality of medical examination and treatment for people.
