In order to create conditions for accommodation and meals for officials and employees working at Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital Ninh Binh facility, Ninh Binh province is focusing on accelerating the construction progress of social housing projects for officials and employees of the above 2 hospitals.
Present at the project construction site on September 16, according to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, contractors are mobilizing manpower, machinery and equipment to speed up the project progress.
Located about 1km from Bach Mai Hospital in Ninh Binh, the social housing project for hospital officials and employees is gradually being completed.
The project has a scale of 2 10-story buildings at land plots CT01 and CT02, with a scale of 216 apartments/buildings, a construction floor area of about 11,500m2/building with a total land use area of about 1.2ha.
Currently, the construction unit is carrying out paving and waterproofing of rooms from the 1st to the 8th floor and the attic. At the same time, paving toilets from the 2nd to the 9th floor and painting the floors.
The construction unit is also installing water supply and drainage systems; electrical wire and cable drain systems; ventilation and smoke absorption systems; fire-fighting water supply systems for the floors and waterproofing construction from the 2nd to the 8th floors...
For the social housing construction investment project at land plot OCT-01 for officials and employees of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, it is invested in construction including 1 10-story social housing building, construction density of about 45%, scale of 216 apartments, construction floor area of about 11,500m2 and construction of auxiliary items to ensure synchronous connection of technical infrastructure according to the approved plan.
Currently, the construction unit is deploying the installation of railings, lining paint, tiles and constructing electricity and water systems.
Mr. Do Huy Tuan - Deputy Director of the Construction Investment Project Management Board (under the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Construction), the investor of the above 2 projects - said that in terms of construction volume, currently both projects have reached about 70%.
Regarding investment procedures, both of the above projects must adjust the total investment due to the arising of some items and adjusting some design contents, leading to an increase in the total investment.
Also according to Mr. Tuan, both of the above projects were started in August 2025, according to the approved decision, the completion time is in 2028. However, before the actual requirements, the unit is directing contractors to work overtime even at night to shorten the project completion time.
We are striving to complete the building blocks of the above 2 projects in October 2026, complete the external infrastructure of the buildings and the entire project in December 2026" - Mr. Tuan said.
