Approving 2 urban projects worth over VND65,000 billion in Van Phong
On July 1, the Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board (Khanh Hoa province) announced that the Prime Minister had issued a decision approving the investment policy for 2 key projects in Van Phong Economic Zone, including: Tu Bong New Urban Area and Dam Mon New Urban Area.

The Tu Bong New Urban Area Project has a land use scale of more than 2,579 hectares, of which 621.8 hectares are land formed from sea encroachment and 7.18 hectares are for social housing development. The expected population of the urban area is about 74,700 people".
The Dam Mon New Urban Area Project has an area of over 1,440 hectares, including over 82 hectares of land encroached on the sea and nearly 4 hectares for social housing development. The estimated population is 28,540 people. See more...
Many land procedures have changed from July 1, 2025

Proposal to exempt construction permits for 112 projects in Ho Chi Minh City
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction has just submitted to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on implementing the direction of the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to implement the Prime Minister's Official Dispatch No. 78 on cutting and simplifying administrative procedures in the construction sector and exempting construction permits.
In particular, the Department of Construction said that through the first review of 356 projects with low-rise housing with detailed planning at a scale of 1/500 approved or agreed upon by competent state agencies according to regulations (with a total of about 55,000 houses).

Of the 356 projects mentioned above, 112 projects are eligible for exemption from construction permits according to current construction laws. In particular, the architectural planning indicators are determined in the decision approving the detailed planning at a scale of 1/500 (or the overall planning at a scale of 1/500 and the approved architectural plan of the project), regulations on management according to the detailed planning project at a scale of 1/500, approved house models and other relevant legal documents.
