The Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City has just signed a Decision to establish the Can Tho City Land Registration Office under the Department of Agriculture and Environment of the City on the basis of merging the Can Tho City Land Registration Office (old), the Soc Trang Provincial Land Registration Office (old) and the Hau Giang Provincial Land Registration Office (old).
According to the Decision, the Can Tho City Land Registration Office is a land registration organization, a public service unit under the Department of Agriculture and Environment; has legal status, its own seal and account; and is arranged with headquarters and working equipment according to regulations. The office has 5 rooms and 28 branches of the Regional Land Registration Office.
The leaders of the People's Committee of Can Tho City assigned the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment to implement the contents related to the establishment of the Can Tho City Land Registration Office under the Department of Agriculture and Environment.
Preside over and coordinate the development of a Decision regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the City Land Registration Office and affiliated units, and submit it to competent authorities for promulgation.
Direct the development of a Project on job positions and structure of civil servants according to professional titles. Direct the implementation of personnel, assets, finance, and records.
The Director of the Department of Home Affairs coordinates with the Department of Agriculture and Environment to implement relevant contents on regulations on functions, tasks, organizational structure, job positions and number of employees of the City Land Registration Office according to regulations, ensuring streamlining and effective use of the number of employees assigned.
