The Land Acquisition Enforcement Board under Decision No. 4605/QD-UBND dated May 21, 2025 of the Chairman of Thuy Nguyen City People's Committee has organized land acquisition enforcement to implement the VSIP Industrial and Service Urban Area Project in An Lu and Thuy Ha wards.
The VSIP Hai Phong Industrial and Service Urban Area Construction Investment Project was approved by the Prime Minister. The People's Committee of Hai Phong City has approved the detailed planning at a scale of 1/2000 in Decision No. 2112/QD-UBND dated December 10, 2008 with a total planning area of 1,566 hectares. Since 2008, the project's site clearance work has been implemented synchronously, with thousands of households agreeing to hand over land with a total area of over 700 hectares.
To ensure the legitimate rights and interests of the people as well as ensure the project's progress, the People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen City has directed functional units to closely coordinate with localities to implement site clearance procedures in accordance with state regulations. Through many contacts, propaganda, mobilization and dialogues, as of May 22, 13/16 households have received compensation and moved assets.
The People's Committee of Thuy Nguyen City has issued decisions to enforce land recovery for 3 households in Thuy Ha Ward and An Lu Ward. On the morning of May 23, before the enforcement, 2/3 households voluntarily received money, dismantled and handed over the site. The authorities have organized the compulsory land recovery for Ms. N.T.S's household (Thuy Ha ward).
The enforcement session took place safely, publicly, democratically and in accordance with legal regulations, with the close coordination of participating forces. Property on the site was moved by relevant units out of the enforcement and inventory area before demolition of works and structures. The household in Thuy Ha ward has also agreed to sign and receive compensation and support for land acquisition.
